Disembarkation - Los Angeles

On April 5, 2014, the lovely Crown Princess was guided into San Pedro, home to the port of Los Angeles. There, Rick and I said "see ya later" to our home for the last 56 days, hopped into a shuttle van and were taken to our hotel in Los Angeles. 

We stayed one night at the Renaissance which offered us comfort and contemporary accommodations for the evening.

From a weary traveler's viewpoint, this King size mound of heavenliness was begging to offer a good night's sleep.

The hotel upgraded us to a mini suite which had a living room. Lots of space to drop our luggage...maybe too much.

The next morning the hotel shuttle drove us to the LA airport and we flew home. Our South American trip was officially over but the extraordinary memories would live on.
