Recently, we returned from a South American cruise on the lovely Crown Princess, and it was a success. With any glamorous trip goes an army of folks behind the scenes (and in the forefront) that work so hard at pulling off herculean efforts in the day to day living on a ship. In our case, our cabin became our "home" for 56 days. During that time, we spent many, many hours with the crew and staff onboard the Crown Princess.
For those of you who work in the customer service industry...imagine LIVING with your customers for 56 days! Speaking from experience, the business is difficult, at best. However, real professionals can make it look easy and effortless. So, among many things, the key to a "good" cruise and an "outstanding" cruise (in our humble opinion) is the crew.
Here is the beginning of a tradition for this blog - paying tribute to the hardworking, often unappreciated crew members.
So...ladies first...here is the lovely Sheena Aguda who, at the time, was working in the Crooners Lounge onboard the beautiful Crown Princess. Sheena and her graceful, smooth skills at shaking up a perfect martini was enchanting to watch. During her down time, Sheena shined with her sweet, soft spoken voice and heart of gold and most passengers couldn't help but smile when Sheena was around. Sheena, "Grumpy" and "Momma Bear" are thinking of you.
